Our varied and extensive membership from across local authorities, industry, academia, legal professionals and the Scottish Government allows us to form Expert Advisory Groups to provide impartial policy analysis on air quality, land quality, noise and emerging issues. We look at all issues affected by these main areas: public health, climate change, planning, legislation and energy.
Our Expert Advisory Groups (EAGs) meet quarterly providing continuity for the environmental community through developing seminars and conferences that share best practice and innovative ideas. They critically analysis EU, UK and Scottish Government policies based on sound science and impartiality, and allow our members input into policy direction.
The aim of the EAGs is to be PROACTIVE.
Taking our member’s opinions into account, the EAGs take the lead in responding to consultations ensuring a consistent voice is heard.
Membership of the EAGs is only open to Environmental Protection Scotland members if you would like to join EPS please visit our MEMBERSHIP page. If you would like further information on our Groups to send us an email.
