THE third and final webinar in EPS’s Triple-Win series is being held on Thursday, February 25th, from 10.30 am-12.30 pm.
This event will look at access to urban greenspace and how its untapped potential can be unlocked to help people socialise again – once we emerge from COVID-19 - and take exercise, to secure a Triple-Win of health, equity and environmental sustainability.
The webinar additionally considers the function and determinants of human behaviour in unlocking the potential of our green and natural spaces.
The speakers are Professor Catharine Ward Thompson, Director of OPENspace Research Centre, University of Edinburgh, Professor Rich Mitchell, Institute of Health & Wellbeing, University of Glasgow and Dr Tim Taylor, Senior Lecturer, University of Exeter Medical School.
There will be an opportunity for a Q&A and further discussion. The event is to be chaired by Professor George Morris, an Honorary Visiting Professor at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health at the University of Exeter who is an EPS trustee.
The event is free for EPS members and £60 for non-members. Click here to get the programme and to reserve a place.
